Ice Hockey Classes and Games
CHIP is the foundation of our youth hockey programs. Through this program your child will gain a love for the great game of hockey and build lasting friendships. CHIP places an emphasis on developing the skating fundamentals required to play hockey and puck skills such as stick handling, passing, and shooting.
The CHIP program is for the beginner youth player or for the youth player who wants to improve their game through learning individual skills needed to play the game. We offer multiple 4 or 6-week session schedules that feature skills and cross-ice game sessions. Learn to Play is a program that provides a unique opportunity for families to join the hockey community and for participants to develop fundamental skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice. Created jointly by the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Learn to Play’s goal is to inspire youth and welcome more families into the hockey community.
Creating a safe environment for families to develop a love for hockey is integral to the Learn to Play program and the first step in doing so is providing all participants with head-to-toe equipment. Participants will be properly fitted with equipment during an in-person fitting event held at a location associated by each club.
