Learn the correct edges, positions, and timing for various jumps. Correct entrances, increasing jump height, and rotational speed as well as correct landings will also be covered. For spins we will cover correct spin entrances, centering, improving spin positions including innovative positions as well as spin exits utilizing traditional and innovative techniques for higher component value.

This camp provides a fun but structured environment for learning and developing skating skills. Four hours on-ice daily is spent participating in lessons, on ice games, learning a program for the performance on Thursday and free skate time. Off-ice time is spent conditioning, participating in crafts and games. Skaters will be required to bring their own lunch, snack and drink each day. Thursday we will have a performance for the parents from 3:00-3:15 PM.

On ice Groups will be divided by level and experience.
On ice itinerary consists of:
Edgework, Turns, Warmup drills,
Spins, Jumps Choreography and footwork as well
Off-ice classes will consist of:
Overall Warmup, plyometrics and mobility strengthening to increase flexibility, stretching to aid in injury prevention.
Core and Jump technique will also be addressed.
There will be beginner and advanced variations for the off ice classes.
