In 2005-2006, during the programs second year of existence, Jerry Domish guided the Minutemen to new heights. Domish piloted the Minutemen to the Met League South Division Title. The Minutemen went 31-8-2 during the regular season -- the best record in the clubs 2-year history -- and won the first 2 rounds of the playoffs before losing in the championship rounds. The team earned a berth at the USA Hockey Junior B nationals where they performed very well and came away with the Sportsmanship Award. Since forming the team in the summer of 2004, Domish has led the Minutemen to a 48-25-5 record. Domish has also molded his club into perennially strong playoff performers, making the playoffs in each of their first two years of existence. Domish, a native of Detroit, Michigan, has been coaching for over 35 years and has coached many players who have gone on to play at prep schools, colleges and professional hockey.
