CIFSC Mission The mission of Center Ice Figure Skating Club (CIFSC) is to provide programs to encourage community-wide participation and achievement in the sport of figure skating. CIFSC promotes sportsmanship and creates opportunity to develop skaters to their fullest potential in a positive and supportive environment. The Club's main goal is to make the sport of figure skating fun for all ages.
Why become a member? If your skater has already joined CIFSC, congratulations on taking the step for your skater to continue on the road of figure skating. But please continue to read so you can see what some of the benefits are of joining.
All skaters need extra practice to help improve their skills in all levels of basic skills and figure skating. It is very hard to get through any level without extra practices. They should come to Free Style sessions with their USFS record book as a reminder of the elements they need to be working on. Free style times vary. Always check the Free Style calendar to be check on dates and times.
If your skater has discussed the possibility of entering into local competitions with you, then they need to be coming to Free Style sessions for practice and they need to get a private coach to get them on the competitive path. We look forward to the comradery of our skaters at many future competitions with our team of skaters cheering each other on in their various events.
